The German company Alape is our oldest partner, represented by our company since 1970. Alape has been synonymous with quality solutions in the sanitary area since 1896. Such classics as the sink basin, the world’s first built-in basin and the first bathroom cabinet-washtable combination were invented by this tradition-steeped company. In this way, Alape also had a decisive influence on the development of the bathroom. All Alape basins and washstands are manufactured from glazed steel. This characteristic material for Alape opens up a fascinating variety of shapes, surfaces and dimensions with unique precision. Glazed steel is light, but extremely robust. The compound material is harder than granite or emerald and sets itself apart thanks to its impact resistance. Since more then 10 years, Alape stands also for creating and producing high level bathroom furniture with series like Init and Addit, individual components made of glass, wood and stone. www.alape.com
